The Living Arcana: A Tarot Masterclass
The Living Arcana is a rigorous, in-person intensive designed to unlock the Tarot as a profound philosophical machine. This curriculum establishes a definitive architecture of the soul through the dedicated study of Hermetic philosophy, internal alchemy, and macrocosmic integration. We approach the cards as active, energetic receivers capable of charting the complex topography of the human experience.
Students will systematically dissect the seventy-eight archetypal keys of the deck. The course explores the full scope of the human experience, navigating the transcendent forces of the Major Arcana and the sacred mundane of the Minor Arcana. Here, you will study the mechanics of symbolic interpretation, master elemental correspondences, and forge an infallible internal compass.
This masterclass demands active, conscious engagement. Participants are provided with a physical and digital copy of a Tarot Textbook written exclusively for this class by the founder of Heretic’s Codex, Anchorite Des. Additional resources include a physical workbook to support an embodied experience as you move through the deck. The curriculum offers the exact theoretical scaffolding and practical framework required to join the small portion of the population capable of reading, understanding, and interpreting this incredibly beautiful system. Tarot decks are available upon request if you don’t currently have an RWS deck.
Suggested Materials:
A standard Tarot deck (the Rider-Waite-Smith system is highly preferred).
A dedicated notebook for recording frameworks and personal insights.
An uncompromising desire to engage with the deep mysteries of the self.

Pythagorean Currents and You
What does ancient mathematics have to do with leading a purposeful existence in modernity? This class sets out to answer that question by relaying the cosmological models of Pythagoras, which came to shape much of Western Occult doctrine. Topics range from early conceptions of music theory, the effect of sound on the body, how resonance connects us with the divine, and what Pythagoreans believed about the study of numbers and our place in the universe. This content is rare to encounter, and though challenging, students will walk away with a deep appreciation and understanding of incredibly powerful themes.
Class Level: Intermediate to advanced; given the brevity of Pythagorean systems, some foundational understanding of the roots of Western philosophy and an appreciation for mathematics is encouraged, though not required.
Class Date: Friday, July 24th, from 6-7pm (class spots limited, must reserve a seat in advance)
The Psychology of Ritual
Ritual has played an integral role in humanity’s development, dating back to our earliest archeological explorations. Now, learners have the opportunity to uncover how these practices can aid our continued flourishing amid seismic shifts and developments in consciousness. This course demonstrates how ritual operates not as a denial of scientific inquiry, but as an extension of it, offering ways to fill in the gaps that empiric materialism has yet to explain. Understanding our underlying psychology, specifically the unconscious mind, can liberate us to truly play an active role in how our lives unfold. Ritual provides the mechanism needed to make such a shift.
Class Level: All levels welcome
Class Date: Friday, July 31st, from 6-7pm (class spots limited, must reserve a seat in advance)
Manifestation 101: Law of Conscious Resonance
Manifestation has been a hot-button topic in the zeitgeist of New Age Spirituality, but here we’ll explore the older nature of this practice as well as why “I am therefore I attract” won’t lead to the outcomes you desire. This class is offered through the lens of Western Hermeticism and will demonstrate how to work with the Laws of Polarity and Rhythm to actually construct a life of receptivity, elevating your experiences from a place of genuine spiritual alignment.
Class Level: Introductory to intermediate; knowledge of hermetics is not required, but an openness to its teachings is strongly encouraged.
Class Date: Friday, August 7th, from 6-7pm (class spots limited, must reserve a seat in advance)

Class Level: Intermediate; some knowledge of planetary energies from a classical astrological perspective is encouraged, as class time will largely be devoted to the actual operation of sigil construction. Curious minds are always welcome.

Dream Cartography: How to Map Your Dreams
As humanity has become more individualistic, living largely to ourselves or in significantly smaller groups than our ancestors, the generic interpretation of symbology we encounter in our dreams has become far less accurate. Explore how to better understand the specific content being conveyed in your dreams as we unearth how to read and map the abstract worlds we encounter when we’re asleep. Is all that we see or seem, but a dream within a dream?
